ReFOLVK isn't just a reverb with a ducking feature added on top. The trigger is the heart of the plug-in. It controls the effect in real time, keeping your source upfront while the reverb and delay move naturally around it.
Go beyond simple ducking. Choose Duck, Gate or Inverse, triggered by the internal signal or an external sidechain. Shape the response with threshold, depth, attack, hold, release and lookahead, plus dedicated detector filters to make sure only the frequencies you want are driving the effect.
Three different ways to create space: Hall for natural, spacious rooms. FDN for dense, modern and synthetic tails. Convolution for realistic spaces and your own impulse responses. Deep control over size, decay, pre-delay, damping, modulation, width, diffusion, bass multiplier, crossover and early reflections lets you take the sound anywhere you want.
Create everything from tight echoes to wide ping-pong delays, synced to your DAW tempo or freely set in milliseconds. Dedicated low-cut and high-cut keep the repeats clean and controlled — or let them progressively darken for that classic tape-style feel.
Add pitch-shifted feedback directly into the effect tail. Choose from +12, +7, +24, −12 or stacked +12/+19 and control the feedback independently. Instead of sitting on top of your reverb, shimmer becomes part of the tail itself.
Shape the effect without touching your source. The four-band EQ works exclusively on the wet signal, with the outer bands switchable between shelf and high/low-pass filters at 12, 24, 36 or 48 dB/octave. Clean up the mud. Shape the highs. Make room for the source.
Run reverb and delay in parallel, or chain them in either direction. Use Wet Solo to hear and shape the effect in isolation, with independent controls for Mix, Wet Level and Output Trim.
Save your sounds as presets and load your own impulse responses. Your presets and IRs live in an accessible folder under Documents, which ReFOLVK can open for you.

The plug-in then shows Licensed to: your name in the bottom right. The sign-in happens once, on the machine you are activating. From then on it runs entirely offline.
You sign in the first time you open it, and that is the last the plug-in ever hears from our server. What it keeps is a signed licence on your own machine, so a dead internet connection or a website that is down cannot stop a session.
Your licence runs on one computer at a time. Moving it takes seconds and needs nobody's help: open your account, release the machine you are leaving, sign in on the next one.

Checkout is handled by Paddle. The moment the payment confirms we create your account and email you a link to choose a password, along with a download link. That usually lands within a minute. If it has not arrived after ten, check spam and then mail us. Every order is recoverable.
You then open the plug-in, sign in once, and it activates itself. There is no licence file to keep track of and nothing to copy into a folder.
Nothing, except silence. Every feature is unlocked: all three reverb engines, the full trigger section, your own impulse responses, presets, the lot. The only difference is that unlicensed, the audio mutes for five seconds once every twenty, dry signal included, with a short fade so it does not read as a crash.
There is no time limit, so you can take as long as you want to decide.
Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page and you will get a fresh one by email. It works once and expires after a day.
There is nothing else to lose. Your purchase lives on your account, not in a file you have to keep safe, so a wiped drive costs you nothing.
It needs macOS 11 or later. ReFOLVK is a universal build, so it runs on both Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) and Intel Macs. There is no Windows version yet.
That is expected right now: the installer is not yet signed with an Apple
Developer ID. Right-click the .pkg and choose Open rather than
double-clicking it, then confirm. You only have to do it once.
If you install the plug-ins by hand instead of using the installer, clear the
quarantine flag macOS puts on downloads with
xattr -cr on the copied .vst3 and
.component. The read-me in the download spells this out.
No. The plug-in talks to us exactly once, when you activate it. It then holds a signed licence on your own machine and verifies that locally, so an offline studio, a plane, or our server being down changes nothing about a session that is already running.
The account is how the licence gets to you, not a second lock on it.
One at a time. You can install it on as many machines as you like, but the licence is active on one, and you move it yourself: sign in to your account, press Release next to the computer you are leaving, then sign in on the new one. It takes seconds and does not involve us.
That also covers the awkward cases. If a laptop is stolen, dies or gets wiped, you release it from the website rather than from a machine you no longer have.
Every 0.x update is free and your activation carries over. You download the new build from your account and install over the old one, without signing in again. We will say clearly in advance if a future 1.0 is ever a paid upgrade.
Digital goods are delivered immediately, so the statutory EU right of withdrawal is waived at checkout, which is why we are blunt above about what does and does not run. If the plug-in genuinely does not work on a supported machine and we cannot fix it, mail us and you get your money back.
