Oscillators, filter, envelope, LFOs, arpeggiator and effects are all on the front panel. No separate plug-in chains, no routing to keep in sync across a session. Save it as a preset and the next track takes one click.

Every section is exposed on the front panel. Nothing buried in a submenu, nothing that requires routing to make work.
Oscillator 1 and 2 each have shape, tuning and level. Stack them in unison with adjustable detune and spread for anything from a tight lead to a wide pad. Sub and noise are on their own sliders and do not eat into the oscillator mix.
Low-pass, band-pass and high-pass modes with self-oscillating resonance. Envelope depth, key tracking and velocity sensitivity are all there without a submenu. Sounds analog because the circuit model is based on one.
Two independent LFOs with tempo sync, each routable to pitch, filter, amplitude or pan. The arpeggiator has standard up/down/ random modes with adjustable gate length and hold. All of it is exposed on the front panel.
Chorus, delay and reverb are inside the instrument, not on a separate effects bus. The send levels and a few key parameters are on the main panel so you can shape a sound and move on without setting up a chain.
Save your own patches to a plain folder under Documents that FOLVKano can open for you. Nothing is locked in a database you cannot get at.
The download is the full plug-in. Without a licence it runs in demo mode: every twenty seconds the audio drops out for five, then fades back in. Nothing else is held back. Every oscillator, every parameter, every preset works in full.
No time limit and no sign-up. Use it for as long as you like, and buy a licence when the mute starts annoying you.

The plug-in then shows Licensed to: your name in the bottom right. The sign-in happens once, on the machine you are activating. From then on it runs entirely offline.
You sign in the first time you open it, and that is the last the plug-in ever hears from our server. What it keeps is a signed licence on your own machine, so a dead internet connection or a website that is down cannot stop a session.
Your licence runs on one computer at a time. Moving it takes seconds and needs nobody's help: open your account, release the machine you are leaving, sign in on the next one.

Checkout is handled by Paddle. The moment the payment confirms we create your account and email you a link to choose a password, along with a download link. That usually lands within a minute. If it has not arrived after ten, check spam and then mail us. Every order is recoverable.
You then open the plug-in, sign in once, and it activates itself. There is no licence file to keep track of and nothing to copy into a folder.
Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page and you will get a fresh one by email. It works once and expires after a day.
There is nothing else to lose. Your purchase lives on your account, not in a file you have to keep safe, so a wiped drive costs you nothing.
It needs macOS 11 or later. FOLVKano is a universal build, so it runs on both Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) and Intel Macs. There is no Windows version yet.

Developer ID. Right-click the .pkg and choose Open rather than
double-clicking it, then confirm. You only have to do it once.
No. The plug-in talks to us exactly once, when you activate it. It then holds a signed licence on your own machine and verifies that locally, so an offline studio, a plane, or our server being down changes nothing about a session that is already running.
One at a time. You can install it on as many machines as you like, but the licence is active on one, and you move it yourself: sign in to your account, press Release next to the computer you are leaving, then sign in on the new one. It takes seconds and does not involve us.
Digital goods are delivered immediately, so the statutory EU right of withdrawal is waived at checkout. If the plug-in genuinely does not work on a supported machine and we cannot fix it, mail us and you get your money back.
