Two oscillators with unison spread, sub and noise, a resonant multimode filter, twin LFOs, an arpeggiator and a built-in effects section, all in one instrument. Still in the studio.
Every decision we made about Folvkano starts from one question: what do you actually reach for on a session, and how fast can you get there?
Oscillator 1 and 2 each have shape, tuning and level. Stack them in unison with adjustable detune and spread for anything from a tight lead to a wide pad. Sub and noise are on their own sliders and do not eat into the oscillator mix.
Low-pass, band-pass and high-pass modes with self-oscillating resonance. Envelope depth, key tracking and velocity sensitivity are all there without a submenu. Sounds analog because the circuit model is based on one.
Two independent LFOs with tempo sync, each routable to pitch, filter, amplitude or pan. The arpeggiator has standard up/down/ random modes with adjustable gate length and hold. All of it is exposed on the front panel.
Chorus, delay and reverb are inside the instrument, not on a separate effects bus. The send levels and a few key parameters are on the main panel so you can make a sound and move on without setting up a chain.
